Lehe Tzu Chi Health Promotion Camp
Holistic Healing of Body and Mind through Technology and Humanities
At the health promotion camp organized by Lehe Tzu Chi , there is such a scene: Ms. Du from Nantong, Jiangsu, came here with her sister, and they have been here for four times. When asked why they keep coming back, they compared this place to a "charging station" for their body and mind, and a "home" for their spirit. This simple sentence accurately reflects the ultimate field that Lehe Humanistic Medicine hopes to create for every life - a home for physical and mental recovery that transmits life force and gathers humanistic care.
And this is also the broader and deeper vision of Lehe that we have felt after a deep dialogue with a wise participant. The dialogue was with Huang Dinglin, an 80-year-old volunteer from Tzu Chi senior brother. When talking about him, one cannot help but mention his family's charity experience of more than 20 years in South Africa and over 6 years in the UK . South Africa is one of the world's top five mineral resource countries and the second largest economy in Africa, but due to the wide gap between the rich and the poor, the phenomenon of the poor getting poorer has occurred, and even several generations have been unable to turn their lives around. In 1992, Senior Brother Huang called for the establishment of a Tzu Chi liaison point in South Africa. Several Tzu Chi members used their wisdom to enter the dark corners of poverty and suffering, lighting a beacon of hope for them. Since then, they have been engaged in poverty relief work.
And now, he and his beloved Wu, a senior sister, have been attending the Daoist venue of the Lehe Ciji Health Promotion Camp every month since August, accompanying and helping their loved ones with wisdom.

The diseases of the times andThe emergence of the "energy field"
In the conversation, we clearly understandthatis a profound observer. He saw through it that in this era, on the back of the improvement of technology, there is a restlessness of people's hearts, deviation of ideas, and anxiety of hope to "climb to the sky". How should we respond when the growth of diseases far exceeds the proportion of the population, and the complex social atmosphere gives rise to more physical and mental "disharmony"?
His answer is: he needs a powerful"energy field". And LeheTzu ChiHealth Promotion Camp is precisely such a resonance place where time and space are highly compatible with people..
"Good people will gather together, and those who share the same frequency can resonate... In this social environment, there is a need for an energy field, a place where the effect can be fully exerted, thoroughly purifying and appeasing people's hearts ." "
He believes that the cooperation between Lehe and Professor Zhang Minghui's team and Tzu Chi is solidly grounded, precisely hitting the most missing link in current society — the deep integration of cutting-edge medicine for "body healing" and humanistic care for "heart healing".
「
Seeing that"person" is not just "disease"
When it comes to health promotion camps, he mentions a fundamental shift:
Modern medicine often focuses on combating lesions, but here he sees another possibility. Diseases, especially chronic diseases and tumors, often stem from long-term imbalances in the body, mind, and body, especially the concepts of "illness enters through the mouth" and "illness arises from the heart".
"You need to first care for his heart, and use your mentality to make him think about,As long as you have a positive mindset and your energy is sufficient, you will naturally let them absorb another energy field from us that you cannot think of, see, or smell. "
He described Professor Zhang Minghui as kind. As we all know, good doctors are rare, but in the medical system of Tzu Chi and Lehe, we can see so many dedicated and skilled doctors gathered together.
He particularly encouraged the camp team to practice "seeing suffering and cherishing blessings" - leading the friends to see those deeper sufferings, thereby cherishing the present moment and generating the courage to step out of their own predicaments. To help others, see the meaning of life and the value of self.
This is precisely a vivid embodiment of Lehe's advocacy of "transforming from a passive seeker of help to an active healthy controller ."
“Three”
sharing is the deepest healing
When the conversation touches on "sharing", his eyes sparkle with affirmation. He firmly agrees that "sharing is a form of healing". "Love is a medicine, not just any medicine, but a nourishing food... Sharing, like the sharing of a kind and approachable teacher, is healing." In his view, when a fellow lover dares to stand up and tell their story, they are not only encouraging others, but also recharging their own life, completing a consolidation and sublimation of their own beliefs. This kind of power, from within, cannot be replaced by any external medicine
"Four"
Confidence to go international:
Humility and inclusiveness of Chinese wisdom
“ The wisdom of Chinese cultural traditions brings us a sense of humility... It is precisely what enables us to accept more methods, or to create the effect of 'healingheart'. "
This kind of 'humility' is not weakness, but a kind of inclusive energy field that embraces all. It allows different wisdoms - traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, tradition and modernity, body and mind - to blend harmoniously here, rather than being mutually exclusive.
" This conversation is a precious gift given to Lehe by a wise man. He from the perspective of an insider and observer, confirmed the correctness and preciousness of Lehe's humanistic medical path. His insight tells us that what Lehe does is not only health promotion, but also building an energy field where lives can be settled, recharged, and then bloom again in this impetuous era.
As he had expected, by gathering the strength of many “good knowledge”, Lehe's Tzu Chi Health Promotion Camp, this “charging field” of life, will surely help more lives find their inner strength and truly achieve—— "Settle down, find peace of mind, and calm the nerves."
Finally, he said to his beloved friend who was ill, "It's truly great to be alive. Being alive is value. Don't think about the future, because birth, aging, sickness, and death are the true trajectory of life. There's no need to be afraid. Let go of this place and embrace another." Faith, understanding, aspiration, and action—if you can achieve all four aspects, you will be a Bodhisattva who saves others. "
